There are many reasons why you might want to remove duplicate data from a group of cells in a spreadsheet, and thankfully, it is easy to do.
Steps to remove duplicate data in Excel
- Select the range of cells that have duplicate values you want to remove.
- Click the Data tab, then click Remove Duplicates. Under Columns, check or uncheck the columns where you want to remove the duplicates.
- Click OK.
The duplicate data is now gone!
