Farrah Mittel

President of Schaedler Yesco

Farrah Mittel is the President of Schaedler Yesco Distribution, Inc.

She and the Schaedler Yesco team are focused on the future of the electrical industry with initiatives to improve existing services and innovate new solutions for continued company growth.

Farrah’s journey at Schaedler Yesco includes marketing, new business development, branch management, and sales management, giving her a broad view of the business and a strong vision for the family- and employee-owned company.

A graduate of Penn State with a B.S. in Public Policy, Farrah understands both the idiosyncrasies and opportunities in working with government entities. Her insight into this specific channel has helped guide Farrah’s pragmatic and process-driven approach to business and her overall management style. Farrah aims to provide the tools and support needed to cultivate problem-solving and innovation throughout the company.

Farrah is an active member of Vistage, a current member of the Penn State Harrisburg Board of Advisors, is board member of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) since 2020 and is currently the chair of the NAED Finance Committee. Farrah has also served on the Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce board. In addition, she proudly lends her time and experience as a Council Member to iBelongHere, an organization whose mission is to influence the mindsets and actions of people to value differences to create stronger, more inclusive workplace environments and communities.

She lives in Mechanicsburg, PA, with her husband, Steve.

Don Geiter

Donald R. Geiter, Esq. Partner, Cybersecurity Service Team and Finance Practice Chair at Barley Snyder

Donald R. Geiter, J.D., M.S.L. (Cybersecurity Law & Policy), is a Lancaster County native, is a law partner in the Lancaster office of the law firm Barley Snyder, which has over 120 attorneys. Don is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (U.S.) (CIPP/US) and Manager (CIPM), is the firm’s Chief Privacy Officer and leads the firm’s Cybersecurity Service Team. He also is a member of the firm’s Technology Committee.

Don first became involved in cybersecurity initiatives while he was a law clerk with the Office of Naval Research, U. S. Department of the Navy, in the late 1990s. Soon after, at a Massachusetts-based law firm, he first started advising clients on emerging technology issues, including cybersecurity, website, and e-commerce matters.

Don returned to Lancaster in 2006 to join Barley Snyder, where he continues to advise business clients on a broad range of cyber and tech-related matters, including GDPR, employee and board training, data breaches, cybersecurity compliance and counseling, transactional support and contract review.

Don earned a master’s degree in cybersecurity law and policy at the University of Maryland’s Francis Carey School of Law. Don is an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is a member of InfraGard, a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure.

Don is a frequent speaker on the topic of cybersecurity, with recent presentations given to the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Corporate Counsel, PA Manufacturers’ Association, and the World Trade Center-Harrisburg. Don has also authored the publication titled “Corporate Officer and Board of Director Oversight of Cyber-Risk,” a tool he has used to train executives on risk mitigation in the area of cybersecurity.

William (Bill) Sholly is a Risk Advisor who has been working in the insurance industry for nearly a decade. He offers our clients and staff a wealth of knowledge, especially in the risk management department.
