Keyboard shortcuts can sometimes provide a faster way to accomplish something on your computer or in a program. Here are a few more common keyboard shortcuts for Windows computers.

Let’s go over what some more of the most common Windows keyboard shortcuts are and what they do:

Ctrl + I

Pressing the Ctrl and I keys at the same time will add the Italics style to the selected text.  Pressing them again will remove the Italics style.

Ctrl + F

Pressing the Ctrl and F keys at the same time will open a Find window to search the current document or window.

Ctrl + N

Pressing the Ctrl and N keys at the same time will create a new file for the current application or it will open a new tab in an internet browser.

Ctrl + O

Pressing the Ctrl and O keys at the same time will open a file in the current software.

Ctrl + P

Pressing the Ctrl and P keys at the same time will attempt to Print the current page or document.

Ctrl + S

Pressing the Ctrl and S keys at the same time will Save the current file.

Ctrl + U

Pressing the Ctrl and U keys at the same time will add the Underline style to the selected text.  Pressing them again will remove the Underline style.

Ctrl + V

Pressing the Ctrl and V keys at the same time will Paste the last copied item to the document or windows that is active.

Ctrl + X

Pressing the Ctrl and X keys at the same time will Cut the selected item from the document or window.

Ctrl + Y

Pressing the Ctrl and Y keys at the same time will Redo the last action.

Ctrl + Z

Pressing the Ctrl and Z keys at the same time will Undo the last action.
