  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies
  • Provide client support and handle client communications promptly and professionally 
  • Oversee cross functional work areas targeted to resolve issues raised by clients  
  • Manage operational functions within the team such as defined process, productivity, product/service offerings, metrics, and budgeting 
  • Develop, track, and report key performance measurements 
  • Manage assigned staff to include hiring, training, coaching, performance feedback, recommending, and administering discipline 
  • Develop, improve, and implement processes, procedures, structures, documentation, and tools to improve operational efficiency 
  • Develop and rollout new and existing products, service offerings, and pricing structures to existing clients  
  • Execute Account Management department plans to drive long term company-driven deliverables 
  • Develop and improve client profile standards and implement strategy to increase recurring revenue 
  • Develop and implement Inside Sales initiatives/campaigns
  • Communicate and collaborate with the sales/marketing teams to achieve company and departmental objectives
  • Practice, coach, and train department on consultative sales for existing customers by listening to understand their motivations and pain points, educating the consumer, establishing relationships, and developing trust 
  • Communicate viable, potential, and profitable solutions in problematic circumstances for existing customers 
  • Attend client meetings to review, support, and provide sales or company presentations 
  • Meet or exceed all assigned key performance metrics as defined by management 
  • Backup account management support of top tier clients 
  • Participate in the leadership team 
  • Participate on team/committee assignments and initiatives  

Requirements for the Manager, Account Manager role are as follows:

  • Four year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Five years Technology experience highly preferred
  • Ten years Sales and/or Account Management Experience 
  • Three years Leadership / Supervisory Experience
