You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
- Scope, plan, design, test, and document for the implementation and support of networking, security, video conference, and VoIP telecom solutions.
- Implement, install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software for both entry and advanced projects
- Make recommendations for upgrades and repairs for clients
- Mentor and train fellow technicians through leading by example
- Participate in sales engineering for networking, security, and telecom solutions as requested
- Work with the Pro Services Team Lead to develop high level project schedule resource plans
- Provide backup for, and troubleshoot/resolve issues escalated by, our NOC and Service teams
- Communicate regularly with clients and internal staff to ensure expectations are set
- Travel (50-75% of the time) to client sites to perform IT-related tasks
- Participate in an on-call rotation
CORE COMPETENCIES
Requirements for the Senior Network Engineer role are as follows:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology-related discipline, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five years in a professional senior technical role
- MSP experience preferred
- One or more of the following: CCNP, VCP, CCP-V, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure

- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products
- Experience with video conference systems, preferably Logitech Rally Systems
- Practical experience of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers
- Fundamental knowledge of Cisco devices with Switch, ASA, and Routers
- Fundamental knowledge of construction techniques including rack mounting, large format TV mounting, and projector mounting
- Fundamental knowledge of wire installation in new and existing construction
- Advanced knowledge of DHCP with and without Active Directory Domain
- Advanced knowledge of DNS for both private and public domain names and IP ranges
- Advanced experience with the following:
- Ubiquiti Switches, Wireless Access Points, and Camera Systems
- SonicWALL firewalls
- Security features and VPN configuration
- VoIP phone systems, configurations, and deployment, preferably Forti Voice, Microsoft TEAMS
- M365 security platform
- Network cable installations, terminations, and testing
